Mr. Colin GATETE is a practicing advocate and Managing Partner at Colin & Colin.

He holds a Master’s Degree in International Commercial and Arbitration Law from Stockholm university, Stockholm, Sweden and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa, Nairobi, Kenya (Magna cum laude). He has successfully taken Advanced Trainings Complex commercial transactions from ALSF Academy (African Legal Support Facility) also holds a Certificate in International Criminal Law from Nuremburg Principles Academy.

Before joining the firm, Colin was previously at Rukangira Law chambers, the Africa Legal Network (ALN- K- Solutions and partners), National Public Prosecution (NPPA) and Bank of Kigali (B.K). He has expertise and experience in Commercial Transactions, Employment, Legal Advisory and Consultancy, Intellectual Property Law , Taxation and Dispute Resolution.

Colin is also a lecturer at the School of Law, University of Kigali.
